BB1205 arrives at Chenalee station on its way back to Dire Dawa, strangely pushing the one wagon load! This is because the local children uncouple the wagon while its on the move! This way they at least don't loose it! The train is seen with a good load of none fare paying passengers and a few local business men on the loco as well. The train did stop here and I had a ride back to Dire Dawa in the cab, on the way back the local kids released the air brake pipe on the rear of the loco, and the second man was stoned while sorting the problem out! All in a days work in Ethiopian Railways!

What a beauty! The Illinois Terminal-inspired paint on Respondek Railroad Corporation's GP10 gleams in the late afternoon sunlight. Even though many other photos of this unit are on the internet, the Illini Terminal Geep looks even more impressive in person.
