1. PG Kanigoro, south of Madiun:
This one is very close to the prototype, but it needs a lot of space. You would need many many lori, some trucks, but only three operational locos, plus some dummys in the loco shed. Go to the mill and watch yourself the operation to run the model like the original.
2. PG Asembagus, 12 km east of Situbondo
Total view with "landscape" showing the factory building with the loco shed, an office building and worker's homes.
The track layout with the buildings. The green line is a hidden track to hide a train with closed goods wagons at the virtual warehouse.
Descending tracks ...
... to the shadow station.
This is a quite small layout what does not need field lines. You can simulate the field lines (A, B) with the shadow station. The full loris come from upper right (A) and lower left (B) out of the shadow station and arrive at the central shunting yard. From there another loco pulls them through the factory building © into the shadow station from where they again can come out via the field lines. The unloaded empties are pulled out of the factory (C, shadow station) and go out to the field lines upper right (A)and lower left (B) back to the shadow station.
The factory can have additional traffic beside the cane lori, which is for example a mud / ash train bringing it from the factory © to a dump place in the fields (A,B), a passenger train comming from a village south of the factory (B) to the kampung in the north (A), bringing fire-wood from the mountains (B) to the factory for the loco shed. Bringing sulfate from mountains (Gunung Hyjang) from the south to the factory, bringing lime stone from the coast in the north (A) to the factory. Bringing ready procsessed shugar from the warehouse (B) to the harbour at the coast (A). etc.
