Ini adalah lokomotif diesel electric terbesar yang pernah dibuat.Lokomotif buatan Electro Motive Division ini mampu menghasilkan 6600 tenaga kuda.Sebenernya loko ini adalah 2 loko yang dijadikan satu liat aja desainnya mesin dan tangki HSD dipisah.Gandarnya yang berjumlah 4 per bogie membuatnya sulit untuk manuver di belukan tajam.
